Students interested to be put on waitlist in Acacia (opening of 5th floor) and Centennial (slots to be vacated by exchange students) Residence Halls are advised to submit a letter of appeal to the Office of Student Housing, 2nd Floor, Acacia Residence Hall.

Interested students must have complied with the online dormitory application and submitted all requirements before they can be considered in the waitlist.

Update on Acacia Residence Hall Repairs
Acacia Residence Hall will open slots for once repairs of the 5th floors are completed. Target completion is on or before 30 August. Announcements on how to apply for waitlist will be posted once available.

Applicants who have NOT submitted an appeal letter and would like to be put on waitlist may email dormappsupport@list.upd.edu.ph, use subject: Appeal for Waitlist, Student Number. Email with no content will not be considered.


Cut-off for waitlist will be 5:00pm, 23 July 2019.

However, due to the delay in the list of admitted students for AY 2019-2020, freshies will not be able to log-in yet in the dorm application site. We will post announcements once we have uploaded the list.

Results for 2nd Semester, AY 2018-2019

Results are out. Please check your dashboard or email. Check-in starts on Sunday, 6 January 2019.

With the closure of three residence halls namely Kamia, Molave and Yakal this 2nd Semester, there are limited slots specially for male.

Those who have submitted appeals or applications, are advised to check with OSH on Monday the residence halls that can still accommodate residents.

Instructions on Applying for Forfeited Slots



  1. Check the Table of Available Slots. Please take note of the four dormitories that will accept residents for 1st Semester, 2018-2019 only.

  2. Those who have filled up the google form will have their application reviewed for consideration.

  3. However, if you wish to change your preferred residence halls, please sign up here: https://goo.gl/forms/ouysuhN2jeOcSWff1

    The form will close on 9 August, 5pm to give way to processing of applications.

  4. Those who cannot log-in the website, use your DilNet account, if you have it already or your student number with your birthdate as password (mmddyear) eg. 2018-12345 password 12311989. No online application, no processing of applications.

  5. If you encounter problems, email: dormappsupport@list.upd.edu.ph. Please indicate your student number and your complete name.

  6. Those who will be assigned a residence hall and who have completed the online application and its requirements must confirm their slot before reporting to the assigned residence hall for check-in.

  7. Meanwhile, those who will be assigned a residence hall and have not completed the requirements have until 15 August 2018 to submit it. Forms will be accepted at the Office of Student Housing, Acacia Residence Hall. Failure to comply with the forms would be charged with the transient fee from the date of check-in.

  8. Results will be posted on the dashboard from 8-10 August 2018 and will be based on availability of slots

Those who got assigned or on temporary check-in but have not completed the online and/or have not submitted the requirements, you have until 15 August to complete. Failure to do so, would mean paying transient charges.

If you have submitted requirements during the appeals period and your dashboard is empty, it means that you have a missing requirement. You may request to check your envelope in the Office of Student Housing.

Instructions on Check-in
To check-in, proceed to your assigned residence hall and follow their instructions for check-in.

Check-in will start on 29 July 2018, 8:00 am-5:00 pm.

The results of the appeals for residence hall for AY 2018-2019 is now out. Please check your dashboard. For those who got assigned, you have to confirm your slot online on or before the last day of check-in which is Friday, 3 August 2018, 5PM. Failure to do so would automatically result to forfeiture of slot.

For those who were not assigned or failed to submit the online appeal letter, the following are your options:

1. Temporary Check-in in Molave, Kamia and Yakal
The Office of Student Housing is offering the following dormitories which are on a one-semester lodging arrangement- Molave (male, upperclass); Kamia (female, upperclass and graduate) and Yakal (male, graduate) to students who were not assigned a residence hall in the recent release of results.
This is on a TEMPORARY CHECK-IN ARRANGEMENT, meaning while waiting for slots to be vacated due to forfeiture. Students who will take this option must complete the google form below. Check-in for this arrangement will also start on Sunday, 29 July 2018.
Meanwhile, an intent to wait form for the forfeited slots has been included in the google form. This form will close on Monday, 6 August 2018 at 5:00PM. Results will be released Friday, 10 August 2018.

2. Apply for slots in residence halls with vacant slots
Students may opt to apply for the vacant slots in the following residence halls:

a. Low-demand: One-semester lodging arrangement: Molave (male, upperclass); Kamia (female, upperclass and graduate) and Yakal (male, graduate)

b. Limited slots: One-academic year arrangement: Centennial Residence Halls (CoEd, freshman, upperclass, graduate and international)

However, the student must have an online application and has completed all the requirements needed for processing. If complete, results will be posted the next day in your dorm application dashboard.

Confirmation and Appeals
The confirmation and appeal for AY 2018-2019 will be online through the online dormitory application. Applicants are instructed to log-in at the http://www.dormapplication.upd.edu.ph. It will be open:
For Freshmen: 1-13 July 2018
For Upperclassmen, Graduate students, International students and Graduate-Faculty – 4 -13 July 2018
What is online confirmation?
Applicants who have been assigned a residence hall and who agrees with it may confirm their slot by clicking the confirm button.
Who can appeal?
• Applicants with assigned residence halls who would like to be transferred to a different residence hall. However, submitting an appeal would automatically mean the cancellation of slot in the assigned residence hall;
• Applicants who were not assigned a residence hall;
• Applicants who were not able to submit the requirements during the application period;
• Applicants who will apply and appeal online from 4-13 July 2018.

What do you need to write in the appeal box?
Reason/s for your appeal and other information that will help the DAC assess your request. Please limit your letter to 300 words only. A drop-down menu for your preferred dormitory will be provided.
Deadline for Confirmation and Appeal: 5:00 PM, 13 July 2018

Online Dormitory Application
The online dormitory application will be open from 4-13 July 2018. Required documents will be received by the Office of Student Housing from 9-13 July, Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM only.
