Due to the inclement weather which resulted to the suspension of classes, the submission of requirements for dormitory application has been EXTENDED until Wednesday, 15 JULY 2015.

As per Chancellor Michael L. Tan, work in UP Diliman shall resume tomorrow, Thursday, 9 July, as such, the Dorm Online Application Team will be at the office to receive your requirements.

Dates to Remember:
July 10: updated ST bracket will be uploaded
July 11-16: Processing of dorm applications
July 17: Release of results of second batch run

1. As per 2010 General Guidelines on Accommodation in UP Diliman Residence Halls, accommodations shall be subject to the following:

a. Undergraduate and graduate student residents may be allowed to stay in the residence hall/s for not more than the minimum number of years required to finish his/her degree according to the students respective program;
b. Full-time faculty of UPD may be allowed to stay in residence halls for a maximum of five years if enrolled in a Master’s degree program and for a maximum period of eight years if enrolled in the doctoral program. However, the faculty student must submit an annual academic progress report certified by the program adviser and the Chair/Director of the College Graduate Office, and the renewal of faculty appointment in the case of untenured faculty. Admission is for only one program.

2. For Graduate students
a. log-in concerns
1. without DilNet account, kindly secure an account in UP Computer Center or apply as walk-in at the Office of Student Housing, Kalayaan Residence Hall
2. with DilNet accounts, update degree with CRS, Office of the University Registrar

b. in addition to the list provided, you are required to submit either of the following:
1. ITR of student, if working or
2. certificate of no income/no employment or ITR of parents, if not working or unemployed

3. For Faculty:
Step 1: Email the dormapplication@list.upd.edu.ph the following details:
a. Name: Surname, First Name, Middle Name
b. Employee Number
c. College
Step 2: Dorm Application Team will send to you your access details for your dormitory online application;
Step 3: Fill out the application form;
Step 4: Submit print-out of the application form along with your appointment paper as Faculty to the Office of Student Housing, Kalayaan Residence Hall. There is no definite date for the deadline since faculty-students will not be included in the batch run.

4. For Freshies who opted to be included in the Second Batch Run, submit the requirements listed in the announcement.

5. For students who stayed in the dormitory last academic year and are applying again or Readmission;
a. CRS print-out will be accepted, provided that, should the student be accepted in the dorm, the original TCG or certified CRS print-out will be submitted to Dorm Application Team on or before 21 July 2015.
b. Clearance- (1) if you have a hard copy of your clearance, please submit along with the other requirements; (2) if you do not have clearance or the copy of the clearance with you, please get in touch with your dormitory manager.

6. For students who stayed in the dorm the previous semesters/academic year or Returning, please get in touch with your Dormitory Manager for your clearance.

We have noted all your concerns which were sent thru email or relayed to our Student Assistants stationed at the Kalayaan Residence Hall, however, we are still waiting for the decision of the Dormitory Oversight and Admissions Committee (DOAC) on these matters. Dorm Application
We would like to reiterate that the dorm application is not on a first-come, first-serve basis. Application forms that will be received from 4 to 24 May will all undergo a ranking process based on the income and distance of residence.

Log-in Failure
For those who have attempted to log-in but failed, we have requested that Office of the University Registrar (OUR) for an updated list of confirmed freshies. Rest assured that we shall be posting an announcement once our database is updated.

Dorm Requirements
Only accepted applicants shall submit their requirements to the Office of Student Housing.

Printing of Application Form
Printing of application form will start on 7 May 2015.
